Signature Sundays – Help STOP VOTER SUPPRESSION in Ohio

Religious groups across the great state of Ohio will join together on Sunday September 18th and 25th 2011 and participate in Signature Sunday.
Signature Sunday is a collective effort of churches to mobilize their members to sign the petition to repeal HB-194 and STOP VOTER SUPPRESSION.
Participants of Signature Sunday will be involved in the following activities:
• Promoting the repeal of HB-194 by:
• Running an announcement in the church bulletin (see language below)
• Making a verbal announcement over the next two
• Sundays (9/18/11 and 9/25/11) during church
• services
• Allowing volunteers to circulate petitions at a table in the
• church’s vestibule/lobby
• Identifying volunteers in the church to assist in the signature
• gathering efforts
• Using technology through:
1. Phone Tree
2. Church Website
3. Text Messaging
4. Facebook/Twitter
